Reading this list is heartbreaking.

November 20th is Transgender Remembrance day and this week is Trans Awareness week. 

This year the youngest victims are 16.

Fuck I thought there were less than 50. That is just so many I can’t even.

i’ve gotten through like 10 pages of that and it’s absolutely… no words. and the amount of extreme violence, particularly in the form of overkill shootings, stabbings and bludgeonings speaks of how much trans* bodies are disregarded (never mind their persons), especially trans women. this requires a very long moment of silence and then a lot of talking about how we can work to stop this kind of violence. this is just too much.
