Sometimes I wonder why Bloc Party never remixed A Weekend In The City.

Because I really enjoy Intimacy Remixed and Silent Alarm Remixed.
But then I listen to A Weekend In The City in it’s entirety and am just like
“What the fuck is wrong with you, Tyler? Why would you ever want a remix of such a beautiful and flawlessly cohesive album? That’s like when people make pop remixes of Adele; it just makes something that was born excellent much much worse. Stop being so greedy, you stupid bastard!”
And then I just sit there and simultaneously smile and ugly cry and am like
I have decided—at 25—that something must change.
